The Blue Point Art Gallery is to be a socially engaged gallery. We welcome artists who use visual language to conduct a discourse on issues important from the contemporary (local and global), perspective. We are looking for artists dealing with social and cultural topics (including aspects of identity and ethnicity), as well as counteracting racism and xenophobia. Preference will be given to issue-based approaches to exhibitions, where the artistic viewpoint operates not only through an aesthetic experience, but also as an important voice in social debate. An important part of the gallery’s activities will be to show the links between Polish and greater European culture as well as the diversity of local traditions.
